History of the Atwater Market

Established since 1933, the Atwater Market is the most recognizable landmark on the Lachine Canal. The market’s Art Deco building was designed by architect Ludger Lemieux. It was renovated and renamed to the Atwater Market in 1982 after major renovations and upgrades.
