Montreal's Complexe Desjardins is a multifunctional building located in the heart of downtown Montreal. The Complexe Desjardins contains a shopping mall, a hotel complex and several office buildings. Located across the street from the Place des Arts, the Quartier des Spectacles and the Montreal Museum of Contemporary Art, it is an important attraction that houses over 200 free, public activities every year. The Complexe Desjardins can be accessed by Saint Catherine Street, Saint-Urbain Street, Jeanne Mance Street, and René Lévesque Boulevard.

With total area coverage of 4 million square feet, Complexe Desjardins is the largest building in Montreal's metropolitan area. The Complexe Desjardins consists of four towers that house several private and government offices. Built in 1976, the Complexe includes shopping centers, restaurants and so much more. It also contains a large atrium along with the Hyatt Regency Montreal Hotel. Considered to be a city within the city of Montreal, some of the highlights of the Complexe Desjardins include:

Access to Complexe Desjardins
The Complexe Desjardins is connected to Montreal's Underground City and the Place des Arts. Metro stations that connect to the Complexe Desjardins are the Place-des-Arts metro station and Place-d'Armes metro station. Because the Complexe Desjardins is right across the street from the Place des Arts and the Quartier des Spectacles, it often features shows from events such as the Montreal Jazz Festival and the World Film Festival. Many of the major events hosted at Complexe Desjardins are free.
